On the Saturday Night (of 6th Feb) during the heavy down - pour , we lost all power from the power points , effecting frig , a.c , toaster , kettle , radio and TV
With the rain cascading down and protected partly by an umbrella , we tried unsuccessfully to coax the satety switch and the power switches in the switch box , to accept a reset "ON" position
Next mornign being Sunday and still wet , we had no luck in getting an electrician who was able to come to site to help in a reasonable time that would save the Frig contents. However , we were able to make random contact with an electrician named "Mark" , who was not able to vist us but was quiet happy to help.
And "HELP" he did by talking us through a number of trial-and-error steps involving the switch box, aim a even partially restoring power. With a successful outcome that was greatly appreciated by we two 70+ year olds , Mark would not hear of any payment for his help.
